Métis Local 845 of Rocky Mountain House & Parks
The position is from Friday 9am to Sunday 9pm (extended to Monday 9pm on long weekends) Approx 50 Days over the Season. Camper & camping provided. Honorarium will be considered.

Brierley Campground, Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site
With the Project Coordinator, the Commissionaire will:
- work along side Parks Canada staff, Métis Local 845 in the spirit of partnership
- take direction from the Project Coordinator.
- attend pretraining and orientation provided by Parks Canada:
- welcome guests to the Historic Site, orient them to the facilities
- collect Fees, light bookkeeping, and ensure security and environmental compliance.
- undertake light maintenance duties at Boat Launch Area and Campground
- other related duties as may arise.
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn and deliver a Métis Cultural/Traditional experience to
tourists and park visitors using the campground, boat launch, and TP/Trappers Tent camping opportunity
- experience in working with the public
- bondable
- good oral communications skills

- Bilingual (an asset, not a requirement)
- good organizational and interpersonal skills
- personal initiative, and the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
