Metis Nation BC, takes leave from Metis National Council
In a letter written by Bruce Dumont President of MNBC, to Clem Chartier, newly installed Metis National Council President, it was announced today that BC will take a leave of absence from the National organization. The letter includes details of financial issues with regard to the flow of Health Scholarship and Bursary dollars. It seems, the MNBC has committed funding to students, and somewhere within the MNC financial mess, the money has disappeared. Well, the good news here is that a forensic audit of the Metis National Council has just been announced as well. (Not sure if that helps the students out any)
