Metis National Council General Assembly is taking place on February 23 & 24, 2008 in Ottawa, Ontario. The purpose of the Assembly is to provide a forum for election of national President. Other agenda items include reports from the Governing Members, Women and Youth and other business of the Metis Nation. Delegates from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario will be in attendance and will set forward the future direction of the Metis National Council.
